Established in 1994 Gishen Group (Gishen Pharmacy) is one of the household names in the pharmaceutical retail industry in Ethiopia. Throughout the years the company has been able to transition from a single branch to a 9 branch operation in Addis Ababa. The company serves a weekly average of 1218 customers while their client portfolio has grown from 34 to 146 institutions with international and domestic companies using their services. Apart from the supply of pharmaceutical products, Gishen also provides medical equipment, cosmetics, baby products, consulting services, compounding, and a line of credit for pharmaceutical products to institutions.
